Institutional Partnership Development

Institutional Partnership Development (IPD) provides a plan for improving SOS Children’s Villages funding base for an increased impact on our target group with the support of institutional partners:


  • Increase and diversify funding for SOS programs to reach the 2020 and eventually the 2030 revenue targets
  • Add external expertise, partnerships and resources to build capability toward the 2030 program vision and strategies
  • Strengthen the culture, protocols and collaboration in the SOS family toward Strategy 203


  • Triple the grant portfolio
  • Triple annual grant revenue

Result Areas

Capacity Development: Build IPD capacity and capability, relevant staffing, skills and structures in place across the federation

Acquisition: More strategic and efficient acquisition, higher success rate with existing donors through prepositioning, targeting, and strategic partnership development

Implementation: Strengthen grant process, project management, implementation, and grant management/compliance

Partnership Development: Reputation and Expert positioning (building expertise/ in SOS and engaging SMEs in the process, advocacy, INGO collaboration, playing leadership role in expert areas externally)
